Analytical Chemistry Intern
Description:
We are currently seeking an Analytical Chemistry Intern to join our team. The position is hands-on and requires the ability to be productive in a fast-moving environment on a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform scientific research tasks to support the development and analysis of nanoparticle coatings, including drug loading and release via analytical chemistry techniques.
  • Sample preparation and analysis using pre-determined methods.
  • Assist with sample preparation for method optimization and validation studies.
  • Work with manufacturing and analytical teams to coordinate completion of QC testing and communication of results.
  • Assist in writing study reports and complete quality control documents that support formulation development and drug delivery efforts.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of laboratory and manufacturing equipment and supplies.

  • Opportunities to shadow/learn from nanoparticle synthesis, manufacturing, and product development teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, bio/chemical engineering, or related field.
  • o For co-op/intern: currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree at junior or senior level
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical experience with HPLC and/or LC-MS preferred.

Mechanical Engineering Intern
Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Co-op Student to help design, build, and launch these groundbreaking medical devices. The position is hands-on and requires the ability to be productive in a fast-moving environment. A successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with an entrepreneurial drive to learn and grow with our company.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of endovascular devices and related manufacturing equipment/fixtures
  • Use SolidWorks to model and prepare drawings for part procurement
  • Perform simulated use device testing
  • Write protocols, reports, and other quality control documents that support development
Requirements:
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/biomedical engineering or similar
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD design software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
